Star Bharat is back with a new serial named Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya (Durga Mata Ki Chaya) produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms.
The story of Durga Mata Ki Chhaya revolves around a village girl who is a devotee of Maa Durga (Goddess Durga) that is spiritually connected with a boy named Dev. He is kept captive for several years by a demon named Damini. Durga vows to save Dev and destroy that evil with the help of Maa Durga’s blessings.
The role of Durga is played by Chahat Pandey. She got famous for her role as Pakhi in Zee TV’s show Hamari Bahu Silk. While the role of Dev is played by Avinash Mishra. He is known for his role Shantanu Mazumdar from Zee TV’s Yeh Teri Galiyaan serial.
It is said that Star Bharat’s Durga serial is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali show Durga.
